Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Chair

Urogynaecology

Non-Surgical. Non-Invasive. Done With Your Clothes On.

Special electromagnets have been designed and built into the seat of the proprietary Pelvic Wave chair.  When sitting in the chair, the muscles of the pelvic floor are positioned directly above the magnetic field.

We do not use probes, wires or electrodes to perform treatment.  Nothing is inserted into the body or touches your skin.  Patients are treated fully clothed. By adjusting the strength of the field, the muscles of the pelvic floor are induced to contract.

The therapy uses “NeoControl™ chair” and “Magnetic Pelvic Floor Stimulation,” which are described as advanced, non-invasive, painless, and effective technologies for treating urinary incontinence and bladder problems.

Discover Advanced Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Therapy

Take control of your bladder health with our innovative Magnetic Pelvic Floor Stimulation therapy. This advanced, non-invasive, and painless treatment offers new hope for managing urinary incontinence and bladder problems in both men and women. With proper assessment and care, these issues can often be cured, significantly improved, or made manageable.

How It Works

Our therapy uses cutting-edge technology, including the NeoControl™ chair, which generates a therapeutic pulsed magnetic field to stimulate vital pelvic floor muscles. These muscles are often difficult to activate through traditional exercises alone. During each 20-minute session, you’ll sit comfortably, fully clothed, while your pelvic floor muscles flex and tighten. Treatment consists typically with attending our rooms 2–3 times per week with a day in between after a consultation appt with Dr Metawa.

Prostatectomy pelvic floor physiotherapy

Pelvic floor physiotherapy post-prostatectomy is essential for accelerating recovery from urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. It focuses on strengthening the pelvic floor muscles to regain control, usually beginning immediately after catheter removal (often within 48 hours to a few weeks). Programs include targeted exercises, biofeedback, and lifestyle advice to improve bladder management and muscle function.

Key Components of Post-Prostatectomy Physiotherapy

  • When to Start: Pre-habilitation (before surgery) is ideal for better, faster recovery. Post-surgery, start exercises as soon as the catheter is removed.
  • Goal: Strengthen the pelvic floor muscles to compensate for the removed prostate and regain continence.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks.
Before proceeding, you should seek  a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
